This
story is of young people who believe in decent love affair.

from previous post-
The girl willingly
obliges and now the man opens back doors for the girl. The girl
prefers to accept the offer and sits on the rear seat and now he
occupies driving seat. The car moves swiftly away. No body talks in
the travel. After going some distance, he inquires the place they are
going. She explains the route and the car is moving at a very good
speed. For the first time she is enjoying sitting in her own car’s
rear sit. For all the time she being the driver herself never had an
opportunity to enjoy such comforts. It appears from her expressions
that she is really enjoying what is happening to her. Occasionally
she would look to him through the rear mirror since she was sitting
exactly behind him. To her surprise, the stranger never even once
bothered to look at her through that mirror. His concentration on
driving was remarkable. Soon the car reached her home. Both got down
and the man stood next to the car looking round to watch the
premises. It is a tower with a loft to park cars of the occupants of
the tower. Quite a few cars were parked there and her car was
standing amongst them. The girl signs to him to follow her. Now, she
was feeling very secured in his company. She knew that the man is a
gentleman and she has nothing to worry in his presence. Her feminine
instinct assured her about it. Her walk showed her confidence. They
reached the elevator and now they were traveling up together. She
looked at him from the corners of her eyes and found the man was
having no expression on his face. He was standing next to her in the
lift cabin like a living statue. His silent expressionless face she
did not like and she demanded to him, “Mister, are you not feeling
happy that you got a job?” The man did not reply as if he was in
deep thoughts of his own. She did not insist for the reply. She still
did not know him so well that she can prod him. For a while, she felt
a little uncomfortable but left it alone. Now they reached twelfth
floor on which she had her apartment. She opened the entrance and now
they both were in the flat. She again looked at him and found that
the man was without any expressions on his face. Now she was
disturbed and insisted for the reply. “Hey, What is wrong with you
man, are you thinking of something serious? It worries me to see you
look like this, am I safe in your company? Being a woman I feel
uncomfortable in this situation.” This her comment brought him to
his normal senses. Moving his right palm on his dirty face, he
apologized. “Sorry mam, I was in my thoughts and actually I do not
believe that I am being looked after like this. You remind me of my
mother.” His reply reassured her that she has nothing to worry
about and the man is OK.
Part
one ends...
The
apartment had a lobby centrally with three rooms flanking it. Left
side door on that wall of the lobby opened in a small passage and
there were doors of toilet, bathroom and kitchen. Right side door on
that wall of the lobby opened in another small passage and again
there were three doors of toilet, bathroom and a bedroom. Central
wall opposite the entrance had a door and that opened in the living
room of the flat. All the three rooms had one common balcony. Balcony
was rather broad and was accommodating things like drying wire to
hang wet clothes, a stand to do ironing and also a Zoolaa. The
balcony was fully covered by sliding glass panels. It was a very
comfortable flat for a small family. The girl removed her shoes and
puts on house sapaataa. She looks on to the stranger and casually
asks him his name. Of course, she must know his name since she has
given to him asylum. The stranger whispers silently his name
“Mahendra”. “Is it Mahendra?” the girl repeats to reassure
what she had heard. Now is the turn of the girl to tell her name,
“well mine is Rohini!” the man, now we know as Mahendra, look to
her with approval and says nothing. Rohini points to the left side
door and tells him that he should take a bath. “There is a bathroom
and also a toilet, you better wash and be fresh. It is already very
late for my supper. And I know even you must be very hungry”,
looking to him with a gracious smile on her face. Mahendra obeys. She
moves to her master bedroom through the right side door on the lobby.
Mahendra removes his worn out rubber chappals in the lobby at a
corner away from where Rohini had put hers. Now Mahendra goes in the
bathroom and takes bath. There were enough toilet soaps as well as
washing bar and a detergent bottle. All the required material to
clean himself as well as his cloths was available there. After
washing every thing, he realizes that he has no second pair of cloths
to wear. On the other side, Rohini has finished her washing and fresh
like Lilly, she comes out of her room into the living room. The
living room has two box beds placed on two opposite sides of the
living room wall to serve as sitting as well as sleeping
accommodation. There was a glass-topped tipoy in the middle. There
was in the corner a rack to keep newspapers and magazines. Opposite
to that was a small table holding radio and Deck. In all, the living
room was neat and well kept. On the other side was a glass door
opening into the balcony.
